Fixture Conveyor (Pocket) Conveyor
A system designed to feed fragile parts to a through feed grinder. The parts are positioned end to end to protect pre-ground finishes or prevent brittle parts from chipping, such as carbide. This system can be used as both an entrance and exit feeding system for through feed grinding lines of production, especially when there are multiple pass operations. Trays can be suited for various diameter and length parts, as well as, fitted with any size conveyor to fit various grinders. The tray loader and conveyor system is combined as one unit, mounted on a common frame that has mobile casters for easy relocation, maintenance or set-up change out. Coordination of sensors, pneumatics and conveyors is controlled by an integrated PLC.
